fcbca322d7 refactor(ast): rename #[estree(with)] to #[estree(via)] (#8564)
Follow-on after #8560. Rename `#[estree(with)]` attr introduced in #8560 for struct fields to `#[estree(via)]`. This is to match the attr which does the same thing on struct itself. e.g.:

869bc73e67/crates/oxc_ast/src/ast/literal.rs (L23-L29)

3fff7d293b perf(span): align Span same as usize (#8298)
`Span` consists of 2 x `u32` (8 bytes total). Align `Span` on 8 bytes on 64-bit platforms. This means that, on 64-bit platforms, `Span` can be treated as equivalent to a `u64` and stored in a single register (instead of requiring 2).

A side-effect is that all AST structs also become aligned on 8. This will be a useful property later on as we can remove alignment calculations from `Allocator::alloc` (since everything now has same alignment).

`BooleanLiteral` (and `BoundaryAssertion`, `CharacterClassEscape` and `IndexedReference` from `oxc_regular_expression` crate) increase from 12 bytes to 16 bytes due to the higher alignment. But this makes no practical difference as they'd almost always end up with padding around them in arena anyway, as they'll be surrounded by 8-aligned types.

a6d71f8f27 feat(ast): add AstKind::ty method (#8521)
Add `AstKind::ty` method to get `AstType` from an `AstKind`.

Works by setting the enum discriminants of `AstKind` and `AstType` to be the same, so one can be converted to the other at zero cost.

91b01345fc refactor(ast_tools): derives for ContentEq and ContentHash use same ignore list (#8427)
Pure refactor. Share the same field ignore list between the codegens for deriving `ContentEq` and `ContentHash` to prevent them getting out of sync.

97a7992335 fix(ast): fix ContentEq and ContentHash impls for literal types (#8426)
Fix implementations of `ContentEq` and `ContentHash` for literal AST types:

* `NullLiteral::content_hash` is a no-op, same as other types which only contain a `Span`.
* `NumericLiteral::content_eq` and `content_hash` ignore `base` field.
* `NumericLiteral::content_hash` works around `0.0 == -0.0`.
* `BigIntLiteral::content_eq` and `content_hash` ignore `base` field.
* `StringLiteral::content_hash` ignore `raw` field.
* `RegExpLiteral::content_eq` and `content_hash` consider 2 `RegExp`s to be equal if they are printed the same (regardless of whether they were parsed by `oxc_regular_expression` or not).

Additionally, implement `StringLiteral::content_eq` manually to avoid "special case" logic in `oxc_ast_tools`.

3212bcdaee feat(ast_tools): ignore raw field of NumericLiteral and StringLiteral in ContentEq (#8417)
We use `content_eq` in the minifier, where raw value can become `None`.

`raw` cannot be removed from other literals, they will always be equal otherwise.

d8b27afc35 refactor(ast)!: no unneccesary trailing underscores on AstBuilder method names (#8283)
`AstBuilder` method names have an `_` added on end if method name is not a valid identifier (e.g. `super`). But no need for trailing underscore on `alloc_super`.

Currently this only applies to `super`. But future-proof by checking against all Rust's reserved words.

This is a breaking change, because `alloc_super` method was previously called `alloc_super_`. But probably no-one uses that method anyway - usually you'd use `expression_super` method to get an `Expression::Super`.

0db2a22e48 refactor(ast): AstBuilder enum builder methods use alloc_* methods (#8281)
Pure refactor. `AstBuilder` methods can use `alloc_*` methods directly, instead of calling `alloc`. Probably this makes no difference to performance as all these methods are marked `#[inline]` anyway. But in general it's better to use methods which don't return large objects on the stack.

3858221f45 refactor(global): sort imports (#7883)
Pure refactor. Re-order imports for clarity:

1. `std`
2. External crates
3. `oxc_*` crates
4. Current crate `use crate::...`
5. Super `use super::...`
6. Local modules

This order is from "furthest away" to "closest". This makes it clearer to see what is coming from where.

`cargo +nightly fmt` (#7877) did a lot of the work, but unfortunately `rustfmt` does not have an option to (a) put workspace crates in a separate block from external crates and (b) move `mod` statements to after `use` statements.

Add `Visit::visit_span` and `VisitMut::visit_span` methods, to facilitate #7811.

Both are no-ops by default, and marked `#[inline]`, so this produces no performance impact.

    `reference-types` feature the encoding of immediates in the `call_indirect`, a
    commonly used instruction by the WebAssembly backend, has changed. Validators
    and parsers which don't understand the `reference-types` proposal will no
    longer accept modules produced by LLVM due to this change in encoding of
    immediates. Additionally these features being enabled are encoded in the
    `target_features` custom section and may affect downstream tooling such as
    `wasm-opt` consuming the module. Generating a WebAssembly module that disables
    default features requires `-Zbuild-std` support from Cargo and more information
    can be found at

fix(tasks): cargo clippy error on rust 1.82.0 (#7283)
I mentioned this clippy issue in the discord help channel. The problem
seems to be related to using the stable rust toolchain, but when I
switched to version `1.81.0`, the issue was resolved.

However, some of the clippy suggestions might still be worth considering
and could be adopted.

9d6cc9d3af feat(estree): ESTree compatibility for all literals (#7152)
Adds some new estree macro directives:
- `#[estree(via = foo::Foo)`: Uses From to convert this struct to foo::Foo before serialization
- `#[estree(add_ts = "foo: string")]`: Adds additional fields to the typescript definitions

Used these to make all different literals estree-compatible.

cc8a1917e5 feat(ast): methods on AST nodes to get scope_id etc (#7127)
Add getter and setter methods to all AST types which have a `ScopeId`, `SymbolId` or `ReferenceId` field to get the contents of that field.

Before:

```

After:

```rs
let symbol_id = ident.symbol_id();
```

This allows removing boilerplate code from the transformer, and discouraging the anti-pattern of treating these fields as if they may contain either `Some` or `None` (after semantic, they will always be `Some`).
