▸ **jwtDecrypt**(`jwt`, `key`, `options?`): `Promise`<[`JWTDecryptResult`](../interfaces/types.JWTDecryptResult.md)\>
|

|
|
Verifies the JWT format (to be a JWE Compact format), decrypts the ciphertext, validates the JWT Claims Set.
